Eric is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA – Ghana), the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA– UK) and a student member of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA – US). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting Option) from the University of Ghana and has over 10 years of experience in providing accounting support, internal control reviews, financial due diligence, valuation and assurance services in Financial Services, Manufacturing, Construction, Oil & Gas and Energy &Mining Industries in the UK and West Africa for PwC -Ghana, PwC -UK and Ernst & Young, Ghana. He trained with PricewaterhouseCoopers and rose to the position of a Audit Manager. Prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, he worked with KEK Insurance Brokers Limited, Lloyds Bank Plc., UK, Cardinal Petroleum Limited and Blackwell Realty Limited. He is a part-time lecturer in Advance Corporate Reporting and Advance Audit (ACCA – Professional/Final Level) and other related courses at KEMET and KASSIG ACCA Study Schools. He has facilitated various financial management and reporting training/seminars including IFRS for many clients including Association of Oil Marketing Companies in Ghana.
Philip holds a BSc. in Administration (Accounting major) from the University of Ghana and is a chartered accountant (ACCA) with over 8 years’ experience in professional practice. Prior to assuming his current role as an Executive Director of Resolute Consult, Philip was a financial consultant to Star Oil Company Limited – the fourth largest Oil Marketing Company in Ghana. Philip worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Ghana and in the PwC Banking and Capital Markets Group based in London, as a manager in the assurance line of service.
During this period, Philip managed the delivery of assurance services and related training solutions to various clients including Shell Ghana Limited, UBI Energy and Petroleum Group, The Central Bank of Liberia, Barclays Bank Ghana Limited, United Bank for Africa (Ghana) Limited, Access Bank (Ghana) Limited, Intercontinental Bank Plc (Nigeria), Bank PHB Gambia, JP Morgan Chase & Co (UK), LiquidNet Europe Limited (UK) and Threadneedle Asset Management Limited (UK). Philip also brings to the team an excellent knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) having been (prior to joining the Company) a key resource person at various IFRS trainings organized by PwC.
Wallace is Executive Director of Resolute Consult. His credentials include over 5 years’ experience in providing audit and assurance services, technical accounting and IFRS training, financial advisory and due diligence services to clients in multiple industries across Africa. Wallace was a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and his industry sector experience covers banking, insurance, investment companies including mutual funds, investment management/advisor companies, manufacturing industry, oil and gas, mining and telecommunication. He has played active roles which include financial and business risk assessment, overall project planning, analytical procedures, regulatory compliance procedures, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) implementation training and focused review of business processes in notable companies such as Unilever Ghana Limited, Barclays Bank of Ghana, Central Bank of Liberia, Oando Oil trading in Nigeria, Bank PHB in Liberia, Fan Milk Ghana Limited, Goldfields Ghana Limited etc. He also has considerable international exposure working as a tax analyst with Her Majesty Revenue & Customs UK in critical roles including tax fraud investigations and tax regulatory compliance issues. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA UK and ICA Ghana) and holds an MBA in Finance & International Oil and Gas Management from the University of Dundee, Scotland UK. He graduated from the University of Ghana Business School with a BSc Business Administration (Accounting Option) degree.
